Detailed Product Description
2-component-molds allow the production of plastic products consisting of two different materials with only one mold. These molds either work with a turnable plate or a slide bar. The second material is injected by a second injection unit.
Such molds allow the combination of materials with different colours or hardnesses. It is also possible to combine two non-adhesive materials by a form-locking connection.
The picture on the right hand side shows a combination of a soft and a hard component. This product is manufactured with a 2-component-mold with turning plate designed and built by Selig & Boettcher.
